They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but the reality is, many people do. If you have a cover design you’d like to use and feel comfortable enough that it goes hand-in-hand with the content of your book, then submit it with your manuscript in jpg format. However, if you feel you need the assistance of a graphic artist at Trust Publishing, we’ll be happy to assist you. You will relay your vision of the cover and the graphic artist will create one for your review and approval.

To utilize this service at Trust Publishing, check the box marked, “Cover Design Needed” on the information form and it will be added to your purchase package.

This is a very creative process that involves the author’s feedback. After all, you are the one who wrote the material within the book. The cover should reflect your work and be a representative of what you’ve written about. Together, with the author, the professional team at Trust Publishing will help develop a cover to fit the message conveyed throughout your work.

Back Cover

The back cover of the book should explain what the customer will be reading should they decide to buy this work. This is what readers look at, along with the front cover, when deciding whether or not your book holds any interest for them. You will need that ‘hook’ that goes with the book so consumers will easily understand the kind of message you’re putting forth.

To utilize this service at Trust Publishing check the box marked, “Back Cover Design Needed” on the information form and it will be added to your purchase package.

If you choose to write this yourself, the back format will consist of a description using 200 words or less. The author-biography that accompanies the back cover, will consist of 150 words or less.

Professional Photograph

Many back covers include a professional photograph of the author. This portion is optional, but it helps consumers put a face with the title and cover of the book. It allows them to know whose work they are reading and creates a familiarity for those who attend your book signings, lectures or presentations on the subject you’ve written about.

If submitting a photo, please check the box marked, “Photo Included” on the information form. The photo will need to be submitted in jpg format. You may choose to have the photo in black and white or color on the back cover.
